इवेंट के बारे में

Bengaluru has always been a city of ideas - debate, discovery, and deep thinking. Now we’re carving out a space just for the most fascinating subject of all: the brain!
🧠 Medulina Mathu (“brain talks”) is a new series by the Centre for Brain and Mind, NIMHANS, that brings neuroscience out of the lab and into everyday conversation. Our first talk features Raghu Padinjat, senior professor at the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and lead investigator at the Rohini Nilekani Centre for Brain and Mind - NCBS.
Discover how lab-grown “mini-brains” and cutting-edge cell biology are transforming the way we study human brain disorders. From molecules to disease-in-a-dish models, this session explores how basic science is paving the way for better diagnosis and treatment. You will also get a chance to look at real brain organoids!
